Our Caregiver Services

It is our pleasure to serve adults of all ages, who are in need of care, in the comfort and familiarity of their home or in any setting. Our quality caregivers provide hourly, daily, overnight, and live in services which include: 

• Bathing
• Personal hygiene
• Preserving one's self image by supporting with both dressing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Assistance with ambulation and safe utilization of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs

Our caregivers perform routine housekeeping activities to consistently maintain a safe and healthy living environment, such as:

• Making/changing beds
• Cleaning the bathroom/bedroom/kitchen
• Dusting open surfaces
• Laundry, ironing, and dry cleaning
• Cleaning floors
• Vacuuming around furniture
• Taking out trash
• Organizing mail and important paperwork

For seniors and/or those who have health or mobility issues, preparing a meal can be very difficult. Doing so, however, is key to staying on a regular and balanced diet. Our caregivers offer meal planning and preparation services which include:

• Taking food inventory and assisting with menu planning and grocery lists
• Preparing and serving nutritious home-cooked meals
• Cleaning up and storing leftover food
• Assistance with meal planning, while ensuring dietary restrictions, if any, as identified in the individual care plan, are followed.

Recovering from home after surgery can limit a client with their daily activities. If a client's recovery does not require medical care but impairs their independence, our caregivers can assist them to a healthy and complete recovery.  

For our expectant mothers, we believe that having a supportive caregiver in the home can positively impact pregnancy bed rest and/or postpartum recovery and reduce any interruptions while the new mom gets the rest and care she needs. Our caregivers can help expectant mothers and new mothers with the following:

• Find comfort and gentle support with mobility and positioning in bed, while on bed rest, or after a C-Section
•  Assist with housekeeping tasks
• Organize and prepare for the new arrival
• Prepare nutritious meals 
• Provide emotional support to the client and family to help keep up normal routines
• Provide other non-medical care needs.

If the primary family caregiver needs a pair of helping hands, our caregivers are prepared to assist. We offer respite care when it is needed for the following:

• Non-skilled personal care
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal planning and preparation
• Non-skilled postoperative care
• Non-skilled postpartum care
• Companion care
• Errands, shopping, and incidental transportation

There is a strong element of understanding, compassion, and friendship in companion care. The purpose of companion care is to provide emotional support, company and friendship, and to improve the quality of life. Our dedicated caregivers provide meaningful companion care and reminder services which include: 

• Medication reminders to ensure medication is taken at the proper time
• Other reminder services which include appointments, important dates, and routines
• Social interactions to keep our clients connected to family and friends
• Conversations and gentle reassurance
• Encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind
• Help with hobbies
• Scrapbooking, reading, and games
• Emotional support
• Companion care during meal time
• Assistance with exercise and tracking progress toward care plan goals.

Our errand, shopping, and transportation services include:

• Incidental transportation and assistance
• Doctor appointments and therapy sessions
• General and grocery shopping
• Errands and outings as specified in the client care plan, such as visits with friends and relatives, religious functions, social gatherings, and entertainment events
• Picking up prescriptions
• Hairdresser or barber appointments

With our client's safety and well-being as our first priority, our caregivers will assist them to the vehicle, accompany them during every moment of their visit, and get them settled back at home once the trip is complete.
